Why it may be good when people hurt your feelings

When people hurt your feelings it's actually a good reason to rejoice.

You will understand and accept this if you are a true follower of Jesus and know that nothing can actually hurt you. But when people hurt your feelings it's an opportunity to forgive someone, it's a free chance to store up treasures in heaven. (Matt. 6:20)

Otherwise how can someone learn to forgive? Forgive for what? This may help to better understand how can someone rejoice in all circumstance about which Paul writes to Philippians (4:4). "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!"

When someone hurts your feelings, it's a chance to prove yourself before Christ and be faithful in a small thing (Mat. 25:23).
